Bethan is a classical pianist, based in London. She is a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and collaborator.

Samantha Brookman

Samantha is a long-time Greenwich resident and parent with nearly 10 years experience in operations and customer service and a passion for creating opportunities for young people.

BBC 6 Music playlisted singer-songwriter and QTS teacher with a special focus on rock & pop, production and songwriting.

Teachers

The team of Greenwich Music School teachers are central to the work we do as a music education organisation. All are at once teachers and professional musicians, active in many different areas of music-making and the music industry.

Alejandra González

Alejandra González is a dynamic and accomplished violinist from Colombia, with a passion for performance and education.

Alvaro Siculiana

Alvaro is an active soloist and chamber musician who studied in Bologna and at Trinity LABAN

Andrea Montalbano

Andrea is a passionate violin teacher who seeks to instil his own love for music in his students.

Antonia Thwaites

Antonia is a soprano and singing teacher who believes teaching is all about listening, and creates lessons that are joyful!

Ben Goodman-Church

Ben graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and is a jazz pianist, teaching across classical and jazz with additional expertise in outreach and online learning.

Berx Kockaya

Guitarist Berxwedan (Berx) regularly performs as part of Opari Duo, which collaborates with composers to create new music. He studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Bethan Scolding

Bethan is a classical pianist, based in London. She is a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and collaborator.

Caitlyn Abbot

Caitlyn Abbot is a South African born pianist who studied in Cape Town, Wellington and Auckland. She encourages curiosity and independence in her students.

Charlie English

Charlie is an experienced teacher and session guitarist specialising in jazz and playing everything from classical to folk, metal to hip-hop.

Chiara Naldi

Chiara is an Italian pianist with a deep enjoyment of teaching pupils of all ages, always looking to evolve and develop her teaching methods.

Ching Man (Mandy) Liu

Mandy is an experienced singing teacher and choral conductor who studied in Hong Kong, Austria and London.

Columba Dromgoole-Cavazzi

Columba is an Irish American violinist who has played with London City Philharmonic and Fidelio Orchestra, recorded for Sony and Universal Music at Abbey Road, and performs with bands such as Don Broco and Band of Skulls.

Cèlia Margalef Boquera

Cèlia is a passionate Spanish pianist with performance experience across Spain and the UK.

Danilo Ricciardiello

Danilo Ricciardiello is an eclectic guitarist and passionate teacher with a creative and dynamic approach across a vast range of music styles.

Denise Ham

Denise Ham has an international reputation as a teacher of conducting, with private students coming to her from the USA, China, the Middle East and from across Europe.

Dror Margalith

Dror is a music director and piano/keyboard player with decades of experience mentoring, teaching and making music in bands and shows, production and soundtracks.

Duygu Ince

Duygu started the violin at the age of eight at the Istanbul State Conservatoire before studying at Birmingham then Guildhall School of Music and Drama, performing with major orchestras.

Eleanor O'Driscoll

Eleanor is a Mezzo-Soprano currently pursuing a Master’s at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Her diary includes numerous opera roles, performances as an oratorio soloist, and experience across music theatre, pop and jazz.

Hanna Shin

Hanna trained in classical piano in Seoul, South Korea and specialises in creative and personalised music teaching to make learning fun!

Heather McQuillan

Heather studied in the USA before establishing her singing career in London, performing across opera, musical theatre, rock and pop - from singing with Jamiroquai to recording at Abbey Road.

Helene Albrecht

Helene is a passionate music teacher with wide-ranging experience across piano, early years, musicianship, choirs and leadership.

Inês Costa

Inês Costa is a concert pianist and teacher who strives to share her love for music and encourage her students’ musical instincts and creative skills.

Isabel Horner

Isabel Horner is an Actor and Singing Teacher from Ireland. She studied Musical Theatre in Barcelona, and is a Vocal Health First Aider.

Ivor Flint

Ivor's career as a classical musician includes 25 years teaching experience as well as leadership positions at university, exam board and professional body organisations.

Jessica Wu

Jessica is a creative and inquisitive teacher who focusses on understanding the unique interests and needs of each student.

Julia Bernardi

Julia studied at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Australia, and creates a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for each student.

Júlia Fernandes Moreira

Júlia Fernandes Moreira studied at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Goldsmiths in London and Conservatoire International de Musique de Paris, teaching for over nine years whilst in each city.

Katie Yao Morgan

Katie is a British-Chinese pianist who studied in Amsterdam and has won prizes for performances in the UK, France, Italy and Holland.

Kyle Nash-Baker

Kyle started teaching himself piano aged 12 - since then he's topped the iTunes charts, performed at Paris fashion week, won numerous prizes and completed his Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Magdalene Joyce

Magdalena is a multi-woodwind player and teacher with extensive experience playing in music theatre productions.

Mariona De Lamo

Mariona was born in Barcelona, studied in Iceland and London and is a cellist and singer often involved in cross-discipline contemporary music projects

Martha-Maria Mitu

Martha-Maria Mitu enjoys inhabiting the creative intersections of being classical violinist/violist, interdisciplinary performer, composer, and music educator.

Michael Rose

Michael is a prize-winning pianist and collaborator with a special focus on working with singers, graduating from Guildhall and Birmingham Conservatoire.

Minah Lee

Minah grew up in South Korea and loves to help each student discover and achieve their aspirations.

Natalie McCool

Natalie is a singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist with a passion for facilitating new music in any form.

Nefeli Erma Maliali

Nefeli Erma is an imaginative and ambitious pianist from Limassol, Cyprus, completing Masters studies with Distinction in 2023 and with expertise also in singing and teaching.

Nick Jones

Composer, sound artist, musician and workshop leader with a degree from Trinity LABAN and ten years experience leading workshops with The Royal Opera House, The Young Vic, The Science Gallery, The Mental Health Foundation and others.

Paul Evernden

Paul is an active clarinettist and composer, a founder member of the Eos Trio, and holds a PhD in composition.

Pete Grogan

Pete teaches saxophone and clarinet, and plays, composes and arranges music for live performance and broadcast including for BBC One, Channel 4 and many more.

Raymond Yiu

Born in Hong Kong, Raymond moved to Aberdeen in 2008 before studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and has since performed and been placed highly in several competitions.

Taylor is a drummer and teacher from Hong Kong. She has played across Asia, Europe and the South Pacific.

Thomas Walsh

Thomas studied in San Francisco and Strasbourg, specialising in playing ten string guitars! His positive teaching approach supports students across classical to jazz styles.

Trevor Wensley

Trevor is an experienced teacher, composer and performer. He enjoys teaching a range of styles and encouraging creativity and musical expression in all students.

William Tsui

Cellist and cello teacher who is passionate about teaching and performing, with 20 years experience teaching, conducting and performing in Hong Kong.
