Alvaro Siculiana

Piano

Alvaro Siculiana, pianist, was born in Parma (Italy) in 1988.

He is an active soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in venues such as Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall in London and Cappella Farnese in Bologna and for music societies such as Edinburgh Society of musicians, Cambridge university musical society, Melrose music Society. Alvaro has studied under the guidance of Stefano Orioli and Simon Young and holds a degree in piano performance from Conservatorio G.B.Martini in Bologna and an MMUS in piano performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He is regularly working with Violist Raisa Zapryanova, exploring standard and contemporary repertoire as well as performing pieces premiered by the duo. In the past year he has collaborated with double bassist Valentina Ciardelli in the project “How I met Puccini”, recording five of her ten fantasies on Puccini’s operas.

Alvaro is a piano teacher at Windsor Piano School, his students have won prizes at competitions and festivals such as King's piano Competition, Windsor Piano festival, LVS Ascot music festival, Kingston upon Thames Festival of the performing arts.
