Hanna Shin

Piano

Hanna started studying piano at the age of 4 in South Korea. She finished her studies at a South Korean university, where she had studied solo piano, ensembles, accompaniment, and piano pedagogy classes. She was classically trained to be a pianist. As a young pianist, she has had much experience competing in contests and winning several prizes. In her performance experience, she performed at the Seoul Arts Centre Recital Hall, which showed her skill and dedication to the craft.

Currently, Hanna is dedicated to sharing her passion for music through teaching. From teaching experience at a university to students of all ages and diversified backgrounds, she does her best to realise the goals and personality of each student. Hanna values technique and finger exercises but places a premium on making learning enjoyable for a student. She uses many creative approaches with the children, such as playing melodies in different keys for ear training and musical games like the Music Notes Sticker Game and Orff-style activities to make the process of learning fun.
