Financial support for students and families
Our Bursary Fund provides financial support towards lesson fees
We provide financial support to those most in need, prioritising children and young people. Eligibility is first assessed based on receipt of specific benefits, and if not applicable, by household income. To maintain bursary support, recipients must demonstrate high attendance and strong engagement.
The Bursary Fund can normally provide between 20% and 40% of lesson fees, up to a maximum of 80% in some cases. A limited number of places are available.
Additionally, a small number of children and young people are offered Scholarships. These scholarships provide comprehensive support for those with strong potential for high achievement in music. Scholarship places are available for children and young people aged 5 to 18 to take one-to-one lessons, participate in a band, or sing in a choir.
