We are looking for an inspiring and energising teacher with excellent group management and interpersonal skills who can pitch activities well; support children to develop their work and learning over the term; who can read a group of children and adapt plans as necessary; and who enjoys collaborating with other teachers to deliver creative and fulfilling experiences.

The teacher will have expertise in musicianship, body percussion, singing, movement (for example through Dalcroze), and the ability to support children to explore creative composition and improvisation.

For those with less experience there is potential to join as an 'apprentice' to begin with, paid and including training and mentorship until the candidate is ready to go ’solo’.

The candidate will be joining an experienced, innovative, award-winning and positive team who really enjoy teaching. There will be plentiful support, and opportunities for learning and development.

We are looking for someone who is interested to commit to the organisation - to our values and ambitions, to the students, teachers, families and staff. The teacher would be joining a team who are invested in the organisation and in the journey we are taking together - as one of the only independent full-service music organisations founded in the last ten years, which since its foundation in 2016 has grown to a highly respected and nationally recognised organisation. We’re looking for the right person to join us as we continue to innovate and grow over the next years.

Positions are self-employed, hours are by agreement and based during term time, with some additional holiday teaching by agreement.
