Beginners in INTRO Level (launching late 2024) get to try out each instrument over the term - drums, keyboard, guitar, bass and singing.  

Those in the Level 1 will mainly stick with one or two instruments/singing.

In Level 2 young musicians will rock out with whatever instrument they already learn!

We’ll provide all the music, guidance and performance tips. Let us know your favourite music and we’ll try and source it for your band to play together!  

Rock Band is led by Simon Maddison, a BBC 6 Music playlisted singer/songwriter who writes and performs music as Silent Cities, together with BBC Radio One playlisted and award-winning artist Natalie McCool. 

We welcome anyone who loves to  music. The courses are suitable for those with various levels of experience, students may be invited to switch groups if the level would be more suitable. 

Please note there are limited spaces for drummers, and contact us before booking. Drummers may be allocated some time on percussion, as well as some time on kit.
