GMS awarded £9,780 development grant
We are delighted to announce that Greenwich Music School has been awarded a grant of £9,780 by the Reach Fund, a grant programme that helps charities and social enterprises raise investment.
The grant allows us to build on the success of our first 18 months as a charity by funding a consultancy project to develop our business planning and impact monitoring. Through the project we will working with experts at CAN Invest, a business support organisation for non-profit organisations.
The work will focus on our next 5 years, and it will help us to continue improving access to high quality music education for children and adults. It will help us measure and report the change we make to people’s lives, and help us refine and share our plans for the future.
GMS trustee Rachel Hill said “we’re very grateful to The Reach Fund for their generous support, and we look forward to working with CAN Invest. Music education changes lives and should be available to all children, regardless of their financial circumstances.”
