Heather McQuillan

Heather McQuillan studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston,USA where she received a Bachelor degree in Vocal Performance. In America she performed extensively in choirs and operas. Performing Verdi’s Requiem, Faure Requiem, Brahms Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, Faust, Tosca, La Rondine, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte amongst others. She went on to study with world renowned teacher Vera Rosza bringing her to London. She completed the Knack Performing Arts Course through the ENO Baylis program. She has been a soloist with Opera Integra, Abbey Opera, Opera East, Opera Now and the ENO Baylis Program performing in the Coliseum, Bloomsbury Theatre, Hackney Empire, Battersea Arts Centre and the Harrow Theatre.

She is a featured soloist on the soundtrack of the Universal Pictures film "The Life of David Gale", recording at Whitfield Street and Abbey Road Studios. She performed in festivals as lead vocalist with the Hoover Manoevres and has sung with Jamiroquai. Since 2021 she performs regularly with The Singers Space at Crazy Coq’s Cabaret in London and in the new musical Sprites in 2022. She received her CT-ABRSM for teaching voice in 2009 and her PG-Cert in 2015. She is qualified in both level 1 & 2 Estill Vocal Training. She has been teaching voice for 19 years. She has taught at the Institute of Contemporary Music, Bird College, Mountview, GSA, Bodyworks and The Singers Space.
