Piano lessons at Greenwich Music School - Alicia Chaffey

A native of Paris, Victoire knew from a young age that her destiny was music. She started playing the piano at age seven and never looked back from the day she laid her fingers on the keyboard for the first time. Passionate about music, she also played the cello during her childhood. She learnt from esteemed international pedagogues such as Romano Pallottini, Marie-Josephe Jude, Jacques Rouvier, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Michel Beroff, Stanislav Ioudenitch, William Grant Nabore etc. This has led her to develop a very versatile and powerful style of playing which translate into a deep understanding of the instrument.

She recently obtained her master’s degree in piano performance with honors from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in the class of Alain Planès and Jerome Granjon. In London, she studied at the Royal College of Music in the class of Gordon Fergus-Thompson and with Ronan O'Hora, Head of Keyboard Studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama .

She leads an active performing life both as a soloist and a chamber musician and has played internationally in France, England, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia, U.S.A., etc. Passionate about transmitting her art, she has not neglected teaching and loves developing a unique pedagogy and approach fitting each and every one of her students' individual needs.
