Olivia is a classically trained oboist, working in London. She studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she was awarded the Evelyn Barbarolli Oboe Prize (2015) and the TCM Trust Silver Medal for Wind, Brass and Percussion (2017). A lover of all styles of music, Olivia performed regularly with chamber groups, orchestras and as a soloist throughout her degree.
She plays regularly with orchestras across London, and has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall and Maida Vale Studios. She has played with English National Opera and London Mozart Players and has also performed internationally as a soloist and orchestral musician.
Olivia loves to use the skills that she has learned through her training and performing to educate and engage others with music. She is particularly passionate about early-years education and the impact this can have on a child’s future musical development. Early-years music classes are a fantastic way to bring out the natural musicality in even the youngest children and instil a love of music from a young age.
