Tutor - Sophie Atalar

Olivia really enjoyed being part of the Children’s choir last term and was given great support by her teacher in improving her singing... it was something she looked forward to attending each week. I’d like to thank her teacher and you for creating such a supportive and fun environment.
— Gillian
Very well structured and professionally organised... Sophie really enjoyed her time spent with Greenwich music school’s choir, and I could see her vocal and hearing progress too.

Course description

Children's Choir offers a special opportunity for children to enjoy singing, making music together, and learning about music. Children take part in songs and vocal activities through carefully structured rehearsals, which help students to develop vocal skills, musicianship, aural skills, confidence and creativity.

Singing together has a wide range of proven benefits, including brain development, positivity and mood, resilience and social confidence. Our choir brings all these benefits, and allows children to really make progress and continue learning and developing as musicians - their learning through the choir will help any other music activity they're involved in, now or later in life, and will help children engage and understand the music around them more fully.

The choir is ideal for anyone who enjoys music and likes to sing - no experience is necessary. It's also a great next step for children with some experience singing, such as in a school choir or an after-school club.
